The simplest form of certification
to allow trouble free export and re-entry of pets between Britain,
Spain and other European countries is by use of the Pets Travel
Scheme Certificate (PETS
Passport) issued by DEFRA.
We will undertake all quarantine paperwork
and licenses for you to make transporting your pet as easy as possible.

Pets Travel Scheme - from UK a) Internationally recognised microchip b)
Vaccination against rabies, and confirmatory rabies antibody blood test by government
approved laboratory on blood sample taken 28 days after inoculation. (Pets may
leave the UK upon confirmation of the successful blood test result but may not
re-enter the UK until six months have passed from the date the blood sample was
taken leading to the successful blood test result). | 2.
Export of Pets from the UK to Spain
A PET passport is essential along with a micro-chip and Rabies vaccination having been administered at least 21 days prior to departure date.

Pets
Travel Scheme - from Spain to the UK
PET passport, micro-chip, and up to date with rabies vaccination including successful Rabies blood test taken at least 6 calendar months prior to U.K. entry date. This test needs to be entered and stamped on the relevant page of the Blue PET Passport. (The PETS passport can be obtained from your Vet in Spain, and other qualifying countries. Your local vet should be able to provide full details.)
Certification of Vet administered treatment against ticks and tapeworm (this must be obtained at least 24 hours - but not more than 48 hours before embarkation from the Spanish or French port)
A record of this treatment including date and time must be entered and stamped in the Blue PET Passport by the Vet who carried out the treatment.
Owner declaration certifying that your pet has not been outside the qualifying countries of the Pet Travel Scheme.
